A partnership reaching new heights
Téléphérique du Salève is delighted to announce its partnership with Nicolas Lehmann, the Geneva-based ultra-trail runner and mountaineer renowned for his outstanding achievements in the mountains. Built on shared values, this partnership celebrates adventure, respect for nature and the pursuit of excellence.
Just days after the announcement, Nicolas Lehmann made mountaineering history by becoming the first athlete ever to complete four ascents of Mont Blanc via four different routes in four consecutive days, entirely unsupported. This extraordinary challenge, prepared over nearly two years, highlights his endurance, resilience and exceptional mountain expertise.
Over four consecutive days, Nicolas covered 162.5 kilometres, climbed 17,671 metres of elevation gain and accumulated 54 hours and 21 minutes of activity. Despite difficult weather conditions and the theft of part of his technical equipment during the challenge, he successfully completed his ambitious project and achieved a historic world first.
