What if, for one evening, the Salève took on a whole new look?

Experience the magic under the stars!
This autumn, Magic Green’Art invites the public back to the summit of the Salève for the *Nuits Magiques du Salève* (Magical Nights of the Salève) on October 16, 17, 22, 23, and 24, 2026.
Following an inaugural edition that drew nearly 3,000 visitors in 2025, the association has devised a new artistic night-time adventure in and around the Salève Cable Car, featuring new artists, a fresh concept, and new surprises.
As night falls, the Salève transforms.
Trees, terrain, esplanades, the rooftop, darkness, and light become the backdrop for an immersive experience brought to life by over 40 artists, creators, contributors, and volunteers. Circus acts, dance, theater, music, visual arts, light displays, and performances unfold across various spaces, inviting visitors of all ages to experience the mountain in a whole new way.
IThere is no single stage or seated performance here; Magic Green’Art turns the summit of the Salève into an artistic journey to be experienced, explored, and felt.
Ready to come aboard?

An experience that begins the moment you board the cable car
The magic starts before you even reach the summit.
Between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m., the cable car ride is an integral part of the experience. As you ascend, the landscape transforms and the light gradually fades, eventually giving way to the night.
Once at the summit of Le Salève, visitors are free to explore three complementary worlds, follow their curiosity, and shape their evening through the encounters and discoveries they make along the way.
🌌 A Fantastic Adventure: set out to explore the Salève after dark
5:00 PM – 10:30 PM | Artistic performances starting at 7:00 PM
As night falls, set off to discover small performance spaces scattered throughout the natural landscape and across the esplanades of the Salève Cable Car.
Around a bend in the path, a light catches your eye, a silhouette appears, music drifts on the air…
A succession of artistic performances, illuminations, and interactive experiences creates a journey filled with surprises—an adventure for both young and old to enjoy.
The artists do not take the stage alone: the trees, the terrain, the twilight, and the stars all become integral parts of the show.
A night-time stroll that transforms, step by step, into an imaginary journey.
Estimated duration: 1.5 to 2 hours.

✨ The Panoramic Show: an artistic event on the rooftop
From 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Take your experience to new heights…
On the rooftop of the Salève Cable Car, discover a 20-minute show set against an extraordinary backdrop.
In the darkness, with the night-time panorama as a backdrop, artists, light, and landscape come together to create a magical, suspended moment at the summit of the Salève.

🎶 The Magical Esplanade: shows, concerts, and artisans late into the night
From 5:00 PM to 11:45 PM
The Magical Esplanade is the vibrant heart of the evening.
It’s a place to meet up and stroll around—listen to a concert, discover a performance, or admire an illuminated display before heading off to find the next surprise.
A local artisan market rounds out the experience with demonstrations, unique creations, and workshops—including face painting, temporary tattoos, event T-shirts, and much more to discover on-site.
Refreshments and food options are also available until 11:30 PM, so you can make the most of this spectacular evening.

When art meets night and nature
The *Nuits Magiques du Salève* (Magical Nights of the Salève) were born of a single ambition: to create a dialogue between nature, artists, and the imagination, offering an adventure to be experienced rather than just a show to be watched.
For one evening, everyone is invited to slow down.
To step away from screens.
To see a familiar landscape in a new light.
To listen, explore, and let themselves be surprised.
For when night falls on the Salève, our points of reference shift. The twilight reveals the contours of the land, lights trace new paths, and the imagination gradually takes over.
“Magic is born of twilight, lanterns, and dreams. The most beautiful spectacles are not viewed through a screen—they are lived.”
