Climb up facing the Alps, on the side of the arrival station of the Salève cable car!

Located atop Mont Salève, La Grande Varappe is an impressive climbing wall, 20 meters high and 11 meters wide.

Enjoy a breathtaking panorama from a unique perspective: the shimmering Lake Geneva, the majestic Mont Blanc range, and, on a clear day, a horizon stretching as far as the eye can see. Here, every climb promises a sense of wonder.

With over 900 holds spread across six routes, it allows beginners and experienced climbers alike to learn or improve their skills in an exceptional setting.

Accessible from age 6, this activity is supervised by a professional instructor, and all equipment is provided on site.

Sessions last 55 minutes and are offered several times a day by reservation. It’s the perfect activity for a family outing, a trip with friends, or for taking on a sporting challenge in the heart of the mountains.

The Grande Varappe at the Salève cable car is accessible every weekend, on public holidays, on Fridays during school holidays, and on certain days in summer.
