Weekend program
Giant wooden games – with the Lémandragore association
Saturday afternoon only (1 p.m. – 5 p.m.)
The site’s esplanade will host activities featuring giant wooden games provided by the Lémandragore association. These traditional games, accessible to all, invite visitors to share moments of fun and relaxation outdoors.
Participants can discover several games of skill and strategy, such as Cornole or Frog, as well as free-building areas with Kapla blocks. These activities encourage cooperation, motor skills, and imagination, while also fostering intergenerational exchange.
The outdoor setting allows everyone to fully enjoy the natural surroundings and views of the surrounding landscapes, making the experience both playful and immersive.

Nature Challenges
Available for pickup at the educational workshop. Ages 3 and up – no reservation required.
The Nature Challenges activity offers families a self-guided tour using a booklet designed to explore the biodiversity of Mont Salève. Visitors are invited to observe their surroundings, answer simple questions, and complete various challenges related to the fauna, flora, and natural features found on the site.
This activity promotes children’s independence and encourages families to engage in experiential learning. It also helps develop observation skills and scientific curiosity in a way that is progressive and suitable for all ages.
The booklet is available free of charge at the educational workshop upon presentation of your cable car ticket and a piece of identification as a deposit.

My nature postcard from Salève
This creative activity invites participants to design a postcard directly inspired by the natural elements found at the summit of Mont Salève. Using natural materials, children and their companions are encouraged to create a personal artwork that reflects their perspective on the landscape and their experience of the place.
The workshop promotes artistic expression, observation of natural textures and shapes, and an appreciation for the richness of the environment. Each participant leaves with their own postcard, a souvenir of their visit or a gift to send to a loved one.
Letter to Nature
A participatory installation will be set up to invite visitors to freely express their relationship with nature. A large collective letter will be installed in the upper station, allowing everyone to leave a message, a drawing, or a personal thought.
This initiative offers a moment of pause and reflection on the connection between humans and their natural environment. It aims to encourage the expression of emotions, memories, or commitments related to nature, in a simple and accessible format.
Over the course of the weekend, this collective letter will gradually take shape, reflecting the diversity of sensitivities and perspectives on the living world.
