Between sky and mountain, a unique experience
Just a few meters from the cable car arrival station, the Salève summit launch site has been completely renovated. Better integrated into the landscape and designed to welcome visitors in optimal conditions, it offers an ideal starting point for paragliding.
From the summit, the view is already impressive… but once airborne, it becomes simply unforgettable: Lake Geneva, the city of Geneva, the Mont Blanc massif, the Alps, and the Jura Mountains. It’s one of the few spots in Haute-Savoie where you can enjoy such a contrast between city and mountain, just minutes from the urban center.
Takeoff is directly from the summit of Salève, in a specially prepared area. Once airborne, the flight lasts between 15 and 40 minutes, depending on the conditions and the chosen package. Paragliding can be enjoyed early in the day or as a complement to another activity at the summit : ride, climbing, lunch at the restaurant or simply a moment of relaxation.

Two partner flight schools
Paragliding at Salève is offered in direct partnership with two schools, located at the foot of the mountain, in France and Switzerland. You book your flight directly with them, depending on available slots, weather conditions, and the type of flight you wish to fly.

Based in Étrembières, just minutes from the cable car, Salève Airlines offers introductory flights and tandem flights of short and long duration. It’s the ideal option for a first flight, or for discovering the Salève from the sky with an instructor familiar with the site.
