Nature animation: Why do living things move?
What if we took a moment to observe our surroundings in a new light?
Why do we move around every day? To work, to see loved ones, to explore new horizons… But what about animals and plants? How do they move through their environment, and above all, why?
This nature activity at Mont Salève invites young and old to step into the shoes of living things to better understand their movements. Through participatory games, discussions, and fun experiments, everyone is encouraged to observe, experiment, and reflect… all while having fun.
The experience begins with a dynamic activity where participants explore their own ways of moving. Very quickly, the discussion expands to the animal world: why do animals move? To feed, to flee, to reproduce… their journeys are essential, but often fraught with obstacles.
Roads, urbanization, pollution… nature must constantly adapt. Participants then take action with immersive games:
a “droplet fishing” activity to raise awareness about water pollution
an exploration of seeds to understand how plants travel and colonize new areas
To conclude, a discussion allows participants to brainstorm simple and practical solutions to preserve the movement of living organisms and promote biodiversity.
An immersive and educational experience, ideal for families wishing to discover nature in a new way, in the heart of an exceptional environment.
